I'm not good a predicting what the academy is going to do, and sadly I haven't seen all the movies that are in these categories, so my choices will be rather skewed.
Best Picture Million Dollar Baby
Best Director Clint Eastwood... though of course always love Scorsese... just didn't see The Aviator yet
Best Actor agree with the tie between Don Cheadle and Clint
Best Actress I liked Catalina also... am curious about Anette Benning's work in Vera Drake though
Supporting Actor Clive Owen
Supporting Actress Natalie Portman
Original Screenplay Eternal Sunshine
Adapted Screenplay Don't feel like I can every say unless I have read what they were based on, and I haven't in these cases

So I guess we're basically the same here... kind of a boring comment!

No Paul Giamatti (Sideways), why bother? That's my pick.

By the way, I didn't realize he was the son of A Bartlett Giamatti, the late baseball commissioner and Pete Rose nemesis...how 'bout that catch.
